Paper or PLA? Which is better?

Now that is a question not easy to answer…

Straws have not had the best public relations recently.

They are an undesired product that we don't really need, a single use item that we can do without.

Personally, and in our daily life, we try to avoid them, and you should too!

However, they are still there. Be it in a single use plastic cup filled with ice-coffee or in a paper cup filled with a refreshing smoothie.

Until we manage to have the public "skip the straw", or use reusable straws, we better find the best and the least pollutive alternative.

Paper is an obvious material for straws. With 100% biobased content it is naturally biodegradable. 

However, Clients are not big fans… as they tend to get soggy and lose properties rather fast.
